How do I redirect emails from a specific email address to a new email address?
Q. Hi. How would redirect emails from a certain email address to a new one. What I mean is...I use Yahoo as my personal. I get business emails sent to my personal. How do I redirect the business emails to a completely different email address?
Asked by Lee O - Wed Aug 11 21:23:47 2010 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. It depends on the program/provider that you use to get your business emails from. Usually there's a setting or an option that allows you to forward all incoming mail to the email of your choice. I do that with all of my email accounts, so I know that you can, but it varies within programs.

How to email a list of people while hiding their email addresses but showing their names?
Q. Is it possible to send an email to multiple people so that the recipients cannot see the email addresses of the other recipients, but can see the names of the other recipients? Thus, for example, the recipient would know, "Oh, Mary also received this email" but would not see Mary's email address. Can this be done by giving the recipients a nickname?
Asked by Marcus - Fri Dec 26 20:36:04 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Hello, This is a goofy answer and I don't recommend it, but it answers the question. Send the e-mail To: yourself, but make your real name the names or nicknames of all the contacts you are sending the email to. Your name will really be one really long name that consists of all their names added together. Then BCC all of the contacts real email addresses. It's very possible this will get caught by several ISP's spam filters. -Raymond

How do I change my Myspace email when my original email account was deleted?
Q. AOL deleted my old email account years ago. Myspace requires an email be sent to your previous email account in order to change email log-ins. I can't access my old email! How can I change it without needing access to the previous email?
Asked by Lily - Sat Sep 19 00:33:04 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Easy! Log in and click on Edit Profile. Then click on Account settings [at the top right] Then in the tabs along the top part of your settings, click on Account and the first thing that it has available for you to edit is your e-mail address. Change your address there. That's the E-mail address you'll use to log in with and in the first tab, Contact Info, you can change that E-mail address so others can find you. I hope I helped!

How do I send an email through visual basic to a certain email?
Q. So I'm making a game. On the register screen I have given them a spot for username, password, email, and sec word. How do I make it so that once they hit a command button, it sends an email to the email they provided containing a welcome msg and their private details? The email that it would be sending from would be one of my own.
Asked by Cloud S - Wed Apr 1 21:14:50 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Assuming they have access to an SMTP server when they're running the program, you can use CDO to send an email. (The FROM: address has to be theirs - I doubt that there are any providers that still forward email. You could also include an SMTP server, so you send the email directly, but many providers block port 25, so you have to send through their server.

I hate having to post pictures as links as only five at a time.
Asked by whitegold - Sat Oct 4 19:17:23 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. You can't email them full size, most email accounts can't handle it, and the recipients wouldn't like for tying up their email, especially if they have a slow connection. So that means you have to resize them, send them at a lesser quality, and still give everyone the headache of dealing with them. It is a much better idea to upload the photos somewhere and send everyone a link to your gallery. That way, they get to see them in good size and quality without having to figure out what to do with them. It is much, much easier to view photos that way, and your friends and family will thank you for it. Try free places like Flickr or Picasa (Google), or one of the many others.

How do you get emails forwarded to a new Yahoo email address?
Q. I recently created a new email account with Yahoo, so now I have 2 email addresses. Is there a way to get emails that are sent to my old address forwarded to my new one? If this is possible, please let me know how. It would be greatly appreciated.
Asked by Steve G - Sat Sep 13 02:42:53 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. U can setup mail forwarding. It's nice to have to only sign into one account and get all of your mail Select Options | Mail Options from the Yahoo! Mail navigation bar. Follow the link called POP Access & Forwarding. Make sure Forwarding is selected. Enter the email address where you want to receive all your Yahoo! Mail messages. Eventually click Submit to put your new settings into effect.

A. You can build email lists for free, if you like contact me and ill coach you on how to do this properly but roughly what you should be doing is going on sites like facebook and seeing the problems people are having and offer them a free way out of that problem by providing a program in exchange for their email address One that ive used is an auto friend and gift acceptor script that saves people a lot of time Another is the zynga poker bot, this plays poker for people and wins them chips while they sleep and is very popular Use a youtube video with a link in the description to your opt in list Once someone has signed up send them the program or link to the program You can rake in literally thousands of active emails this way legally… [cont.]

A. I don't think you can. It's a safety thing. What if the file you sent was a virus, and it automatically launched? Exactly. That's why you have to manually open it. I've wished I could do that (send a presentation and have it open right away, I mean) but unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. :/

A. The address that you blocked would also have to block your address. Remove them from your address book, contact then no one will be able to send to it. Unless you manually type in their address.

A. That is a trick spammers use to get you to open your mails. if you send mail to yourself, remember which ones they were, and do not open the others. Opening spam alerts the sender that your address is a valod one and they send you loads and loads more. You can not completely stop all spam, but you can help to put a big dent in it. First, try not to open any of them, that only makes them send more and more to you. Check mark them and click on 'Spam,' this should stop those addresses from being delivered to your inbox. A. If you open an alternate account you will not lose anything - contacts, address list, saved mails, folders. Send an email to all your contacts with the new email address. If someone sends mail to the old e-mail address, it will go to the same Inbox so you don't lose any messages. You do not need to inform anyone of the new address - there is a drop-down menu at the right in From: where you can choose which address to use for sending from either account. * Click the link below to get an extra email address for your existing account. Use it just as you would for your primary address (which of course you can still use). You can send and receive email from either address from the same Inbox. * To notify your contacts of the email change,… [cont.]

How do I get email address suggestions when composing an email?
Q. I use yahoo with a safari web browser. When type into the "To:" box, it does not suggest email addresses already stored in my contacts. When using internet explorer on a pc, yahoo suggests email addresses without a problem. How do I fix this on safari

A. You can't---Safari isn't a supported browser for Yahoo (except with a Mac). That's a change Yahoo made during the update of the original mail page. Auto Complete is now only available with 2 browsers. See this link for that information, and a list of supported browsers.

How do I send email messages to multiple email addresses and making it appear just "undisclosed recipients"?
Q. How do I send email messages using Microsoft Office Outlook to different email addresses all at the same time and just making appear in the "To" bar like it is sent to "undiscolsed recipients"?

A. Put all of your addresses in the BCC line and leave the TO line blank (which doesn't affect anything). When the recipients open up your message undisclosed recipient will be in the TO line and the addresses will not be displayed for anyone.
